LEAD PASTOR

Pastor Jason Eagles came to Steel City Baptist Church in the Fall of 2009. As a six-year-old boy, he made a decision that had an eternal impact on his life; he accepted Christ as His personal Saviour.

He grew up in a Christian home, but it was while he was a teenager that he surrendered his life to whatever God would have for him. During the summer of 1998, at summer camp, He felt the Lord was leading him to be involved in full-time Christian service. He surrendered his life to the Lord, and when he graduated from high school went on to get his training at FaithWay Baptist College of Canada. While he was there he met his wife Faith and they were married shortly after college. Now the happy parents of four children, they are thankful for the opportunity to serve the Lord in East Hamilton.

Andrik came to Steel City Baptist Church in the Summer of 2017. At 12 years old, he made the decision to accept Christ as His personal Saviour. He went to study at FaithWay Baptist College of Canada where he felt called to be in full-time Ministry. During his time there he met his wife, Sarah, and got married shortly after graduating. They then moved to Hamilton to work alongside Pastor Eagles and his family at Steel City Baptist Church. They now have one son and love serving the Lord in Hamilton.
